WebThe estimation of multifactor productivity includes the measurement of output (of an industry, etc.) and the inputs used to create the output. It also includes a weighting of the inputs; the weights indicate the relative importance of the inputs in industry output. WebVarious measures of Multifactor Productivity (MFP) are constructed, as we consider diverse combinations of inputs with capital, labour, electricity and transport. This allows us to compare MFP growth rates between groups. Sec-ond, we analyse econometrically some of the determinants of MFP and Labour Productivity (LP) growth.
